New Character

I've been trying to develop this crocodile character a bit more. I already have a four page script to make a comic from (thanks to my writer friend, Tom Masters) I'd really like to give it a try, perhaps take a break from drawing bears all the time….maybe.

The process

I'm currently working on another project, but apart from that, I've also been trying to use some of the drawings from my sketchbooks lately.  I wanted to make some new images I could make into prints (I was hoping to approach a local gallery to see if they were interested) Heres a page from one of my recent sketchbooks.

A complete mess. Drawings everywhere. But I saw a pretty interesting shape on this page- perhaps it could be interesting image? The current result:

Scanned it in and I drew over the entire shape. I might make into something eventually, but who knows? sometimes, this is about as far as it gets.

And I have quite a lot of xerox sheets full of drawings.

I managed to spot a rabbit throughout the mess- might be fun to use it as the end papers for my recently completed comic. Heres the current progress:
